Fall  Equinox Observation  

 Hanging Rock Conservation Area—Redfield

Join us, at 6:30 a.m., to observe the Equinox sunrise  on the astronomical clock at Hanging Rock.  Learn about the clock, its history and pause to consider the celestial waltz of the seasons as we celebrate this wild day.

- Boiling off (the second program) is when we take the collected sap and heat it so the excess water evaporates. With a new, flat pan, this process should go much faster! Feel free to stop by to see and taste what’s going on, realizing that the tastiest results occur near the end.
