Our, “Owl Prowl”, hike will begin around a bonfire, with hot chocolate, as we introduce you to the owls of Dallas County and their signature calls. Next we will venture out on the woodland trails of Kuehn and try our luck at calling the owls. If we are successful, you will experience the thrill of hearing an owl answer back to our calls. Why are they talking to us? What are they saying? Join us on the prowl and we will let an owl answer your questions. This program is purposefully scheduled near the full moon. Owls or no owls, a moonlit night time hike across the snow covered trails of Kuehn, is an adventure in and of itself. Your nights in the woods will never be the same once you have talked to an owl! Registration is required for this program.
