A Conversation with an Owl - Great Horned Owl Release
- Date: 01/12/2017 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Location: Bear Creek Nature Center - Kuehn
- Introduction: Come meet the owls and share the nights of Dallas County.
This program will feature a live barred owl that have been injured, rehabilitated, but can not be returned to the wilds. This wild bird now serves as a teacher to help we humans understand owls in our wilds. Armed with your new owl wisdom you can better understand our wilds and consider joining us for our annual owl prowl programs. More reasons for you and your children to stay up late!
A special addition to this program will be the release of a rehabilitated Great Horned Owl, found injured here in Dallas County, mended at S.O.A.R. and now ready to be returned to the wilds. Registration is required for this program.
