Law Enforcement and Crime in Dallas County

Law Enforcement Veterans discuss Dallas County Crime History

On Sunday, November 8 at 1:30 pm, Forest Park Museum will host a discussion of Dallas County law enforcement and criminal history during the 1950s, 60s and 70s. During this period law enforcement officers had plenty of excitement that resulted in many “old war stories”.

Retired State Trooper Wendell Stream and former Dallas County Deputy Bob DeCamp will be on hand to describe the many and varied adventures experienced by lawmen during those years in Dallas County.

The public will also have the opportunity to view an exhibit on Crimes in Iowa and Beyond immediately following the law enforcement discussion. This will be a very exciting and unusual afternoon so mark your calendars for November 8 at 1:30 at Forest Park Museum.

No registration is required for the FREE program.
